The Austin River Serpent Rears Its Ugly Head

WE SAW IT!!!! The Austin River Serpent momentarily surfaced before striking at the canoe. We got so caught up in watching the canoers battle the serpent with their oars that not one single Toastmaster on board took pictures. It was like Biblical, man... like reliving Genesis all over again... the battle between Man and the Serpent... and all before our very eyes... in the water, not a garden... and IN AUSTIN, WOW!!! Ain't life great??? The good news is no one got hurt... but the canoe capsized and The Austin River Serpent took off with their beer. We pulled the canoers out of the water into our boat and shared our beer with them.
